To obtain the motorcycle learner’s permit.

Motorcycle Endorsement

To obtain a Connecticut Driver’s License, the applicant must be at least 16 years of age; be physically and mentally capable of operating a motor vehicle, and have successfully completed both a written and on-road driver’s examination. All applicants who do not hold a driver’s license must complete an 8-hour safe driving course. Applicants 16 or 17 years of age must also hold a learner’s permit, have parental consent and pass a 25-question final exam to obtain a driver’s license.
